Your role & responsibilities

Act as liaison between GSC RTR processes to country stakeholders. You will be providing accounting services to various 3M subsidiaries in both legacy and SAP systems.  You will report to an accounting team manager.

Responsibilities:

• Review of the countries/region/area financial statements/BS and P&L during month-end closing.
• Coordinate with the local team the additional entries needed in closing the books.
• Lead the Pre-Close and Post-Close Calls between GSC and local Finance – ensure financial statements are analyzed and well explained (provide insights on commentary).
• Lead the balance sheet review calls with the country – closely work with the reconcilers, process specialists, and local finance on open items.
• Support statutory audit for countries supported – coordinates across GSC to ensure data and information needed from GSC are provided on time to external auditors / PWC.
• Conduct training – financial analysis, etc.
