As an Information technology (IT) intern, you will work closely with our IT Department. You may be tasked to provide technical support to employees, maintain existing systems, and install, maintain, and repair computers and networks.
Your exact duty as an IT intern may vary day by day. However, you will share one thing in common with other IT interns: to gain valuable experience that will help you land your dream job after graduation.
Our IT interns typically have a wide range of responsibilities, which can include:
- Analyzing data to recommend improvements to exist systems or processes
- Setting up new computers, networks, and software for new employees
- Providing support to IT staff by answering chats, processing paperwork, and responding to user requests
- Installing operating systems and other computer software applications on new computers
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that all technology is working properly for the company
- Collecting, analyzing, and storing data for use in reports
- Supporting the maintenance of existing computer systems, including troubleshooting problems with hardware and software
- Assisting with computer network security by scanning for vulnerabilities and viruses
- Providing technical support for computer hardware and software issues
Must have:
- Enrolled this SY2022-2023 in IT, Computer Science or any related field
- Memorandum of Agreement to be signed by both parties
- Minimum of 300 OJT hours
- Must be willing to work from home or in-office as required
