CCP was established in 1966 and designed by premier architects during that time, Leandro Locsin and Ildefonso Santos Jr. It took three years to build this gigantic building.

For the regular positions, the salary range of a Digital Archives Assistant is PHP205,000 to PHP247,000 per year, Training Specialist (PHP350,000 – PHP382,000), Cultural and Arts Officer (PHP349,000 – PHP673,000), and Usherette/Tourist Guide (PHP844,000 – PHP910,000).
