About DMCI Project Developers Inc.

DMCI Homes is a company of innovative builders and engineering experts who develop modern-day living solutions for urban families.

Each of their developments is built with world-standard craftsmanship borne from D.M. Consunji Inc.’s almost 60 years of experience in the construction and development industry. DMCI Homes offer its customers the highest level of expertise and strict adherence to global standards. Its corporate philosophy is anchored on a deep understanding that buying a home is more about investing in a better way of living.

Your role

Generally responsible for preparing and/or securing shop drawings and as-built drawings. Also controlling, verifying, disseminating, and maintaining all recent, updated, and approved Construction Drawings for site and fabrication purposes.

  • Prepare shop drawing, drawing detailing, assembly blow-up, and ensure accuracy and consistency prior to fabrication/installation
  • Prepare/complete as-built drawing before QMD inspection
  • Disseminate final as-built drawings to intended recipients including subcontractors and ensure superseded versions are received/archived. Update the as-built monitoring log.
  • Secure shop drawings and product samples from Suppliers and Subcontractors
  • Secure as-built drawings and testing certificates from subcontractors
  • Disseminate approved RFA/RFI that affects the current scope
  • Document and record control

Training, development, & rotations

Company growth - in terms of sales and projects - requires solid leadership and personnel readiness. With this perspective, DMCI Homes started implementing in October 2010 a Management Development Program (MDP), a succession strategy.

The MDP has two tracks: engineering (Track 1) and property management (Track 2). A third track - project development - will be introduced very soon.

The MDP undergoes constant evolution as lessons are learned along the way. Its dynamism is one of its success factors. The other such factors include solid support from the company's management (the company President treats it as a pet project), adequate budget (Php26 M excluding salaries for this year alone), curriculum structure (developed by the company's pillars who have - to borrow a tired cliche - been there done that), thorough monitoring (which is what I do, in coordination with buddies and other partners), experiential coaching given by seasoned company officials, and the malleability of young minds, among others.

Compensation & benefits

The Company has a comprehensive program for rewarding and compensating employees who contribute to the achievement of its long-term goals. While the program precludes employee stock ownership plans, the Company does offer incentives that address the critical needs of its employees, such as merit increases, performance bonuses, continuing education, housing loan, as well as retirement benefits, and emergency assistance in the event of disability and death.

Company culture

  • They choose industries that allow them to leverage their engineering and management expertise and construction resources while promoting development.
  • They engage and retain their employees by investing in skills development and career opportunities.
  • They pursue businesses with unrealized value that could be unlocked through innovative engineering and management.
  • They manage their businesses in accordance with relevant government standards on environment, safety, quality, and corporate governance practices.
