Your role 

  • Regular plan reading and ensure the plan used are the latest for construction plan. FCD, approved Shop drawing, approved Materials, and work method statements are implemented and compliant to the requirement of the specification.
  • Provide RFA/RFI for plans with concerns/ issue. Coordinate with CAS engineers with conflicts for CAS concerns
  • Provide and secure approved shop drawing: sleeves and routing of pipes.
  • Conduct weekly coordination meeting with subcontractors to relay all schedules required by PIC for project completion.
  • Check endorsed area by CAS engineer prior turnover to subcontractor.
  • Inspect and monitor the installation of pipe sleeves and block outs.
  • Check and review the endorsed completed phase of work through signed checklist and is conformed to the requirement of “For Construction Plans” and specification
  • Check and ensure completeness and accuracy of submitted as-built plans.
  • Prepare OSM and ensure at least 1 atrium level of stock on site. Attach extracted qty from BIM for PRS preparation.
  • Contact suppliers for delivery advices.
  • Inspect deliveries for highly technical MEP materials
  • Immediately address identified non conformities and avoid recurrence

Training, development, & rotations

Company growth - in terms of sales and projects - requires solid leadership and personnel readiness. With this perspective, DMCI Homes started implementing in October 2010 a Management Development Program (MDP), a succession strategy.

The MDP has two tracks: engineering (Track 1) and property management (Track 2). A third track - project development - will be introduced very soon.

The MDP undergoes constant evolution as lessons are learned along the way. Its dynamism is one of its success factors. The other such factors include solid support from the company's management (the company President treats it as a pet project), adequate budget (Php26 M excluding salaries for this year alone), curriculum structure (developed by the company's pillars who have - to borrow a tired cliche - been there done that), thorough monitoring (which is what I do, in coordination with buddies and other partners), experiential coaching given by seasoned company officials, and the malleability of young minds, among others.

About you

  • Candidate must possess at least a Professional License (Passed Board/Bar/Professional License Exam) in Mechanical Engineering
  • Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
