Your role & responsibilities

As a CAD Technician at Planitar Inc., you will play a pivotal role in creating immersive floor plans and sketches using cutting-edge software, including Plantier's proprietary tool, Draft, and Verisk's Xactimate.

Responsibilities:

• Creating iGUIDE Floor Plans for Residential, Commercial, and Insurance Restoration Clients.
• Generating ESX Floor Plan Sketches for Insurance Restoration Claims Clients.
• Developing DWG Floor Plans for Architecture, Construction & Engineering Clients.
• Addressing and reporting any production issues to the iGUIDE Drafting Team Leader.
• Active participation in cross-functional, continuous improvement initiatives.
• Completing various tasks beyond drafting, such as AI annotations, marketing research, and case studies.

About you

• A degree or diploma in Architectural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with CAD tools and software, including Revit, AutoCAD, and Xactimate, is preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite or Google Workspace.
• The ability to meet tight deadlines and adapt to changing priorities.
• Advanced computer navigation skills.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities.
• Exceptional organizational skills, including task prioritization, multi-tasking, and time management.
• Keen attention to detail.
