Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate shall have the following qualifications:
- Be a Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of working experience in a related field.
- At least 1 year of work experience in HR/Admin.
- Proactive, collaborative, and able to work with less supervision.
- Attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Critical thinking skills.
- A warm and caring disposition.
- First aid and BOSH training are desirable.
What you will do:
Primary Tasks:
- Facilitate letters of authorization (LOAs) for team members who need to use HMO services and benefits.
- Coordinate HMO enrollments, deletions, and other requests, as the specific Point of Contact for the end-to-end health insurance process.
- Drive pre-employment and onboarding requirements: validate, monitor and update these requirements.
- Manage inventory for medicine replenishment.
- Validate medical certificates received.
- Send out health advisories.
- Take responsibility for home visits, when needed.
Others:
- Provide emergency care and treatment to employees within the legal scope of nursing responsibility such as first aid treatment, checking of vital signs, health interview, and dispensing of medicine.
- Assess and determine the health status of the employee on duty, which includes recommendations to send them home or clear them to resume working in the office.
- Conduct regular inventory of medicine and medical supplies to ensure availability at all times.
- Assist and facilitate doctor consultations.
- Document work-related employee injury or illness, making sure that all information remains confidential.
- Facilitate pre-employment medical exams and the annual physical exam (APE) benefit availments. Report and monitor compliance.
- Prepare all medical-related reports.
- Assist and participate in all HR initiatives.
