Your role & responsibilities

Performs and/or supports testing tasks to ensure that developed products meet design specifications. Communicates with product developers on product issues.

Responsibilities:

• Develop an understanding of the industry’s usage of Infor/Lawson applications and incorporate this into the test requirements, design, cases, and scripts.
• Assists in the design of test cases for assigned products, building of test systems, and automation of tests under the direction of more senior analysts.
• Creates manual and automated test cases test cases based on design and requirements.
• Analyzes test output to ensure functionality regression and new features of the products during a release cycle.
• Documents test scripts in a common repository and logs product failure issues into the problem-tracking system.
• Learns and uses automated testing tools and test frameworks for automated functional testing.

About you

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, IT, or related discipline (may need additional training in skills to fulfill the basic responsibilities of the position.
• This is an entry-level position typically requiring less than 18 months of experience in development, research, product testing, or support.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to understand business processes, and product features, analyze new requirements, and define complete tests for the same.
• Good testing and defect-finding skills and understanding of QA methodologies.
• Ability to meet schedules.
• Strong logical, analytical, and technical skills.
• Basic coding knowledge in C# for test automation.
• Strong, teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills.
