Provides family planning information and advices to patients and their families.
Educates women on reproductive health and advocates prenatal care for expectant mothers.
Provide counseling and advice following events such as miscarriage, termination, stillbirth, neonatal abnormality and neonatal death.
Acts as senior midwife in the shift and leads the management of the ward team in providing patient care.
Attends to normal deliveries and refers abnormal deliveries to physicians.
Conducts post-mortem care on deceased infants.
Advises necessary examination for the earliest possible diagnosis of pregnancies at risk.
Monitors the patient before birth, during labor and after giving birth.
Organize and updates records for the preparation of required reports.
Performs other related task as assigned by the immediate supervisor.
Minimum Qualifications:
Completion of Midwifery course
Four (4) hours of relevant training
One (1) year of relevant experience
RA 1080 (Midwife)
Salary:
PHP27,000/monthly
