By joining Macquarie as a graduate, you will become an integral member of the team. You will develop your skills and build your career while sitting side-by-side with our business leaders and have the opportunity to work on projects from day one.

As a Know Your Customer (KYC) Analyst, you will be acting as Macquarie’s first line of defence, primarily responsible for performing Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and non-AML due diligence on incoming and existing clients/counterparties. This role includes conducting research and obtaining information from publicly available resources, screening entities for adverse news, sanctions or politically exposed persons. You will be responsible for determining and escalating high-risk triggers and other potential risk findings, and maintaining accurate and complete data and documents in our customer databases. Team collaboration and client engagement are key as you will be working extensively with various teams across global locations to fulfil an entity’s KYC requirements as mandated by compliance and regulatory standards.

To be successful in this role, you will be detail-oriented with a strong risk mindset, highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks. You will be flexible and able to quickly adapt to changing priorities, with strong communication skills to clearly and concisely articulate complex findings. You will be resilient to challenges and setbacks, enthusiastic and motivated to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment. You will be focused to meet delivery and quality targets, with a keen interest in constantly seeking to improve the processes you go through on a daily basis and challenging the way you work.

You will join a dynamic, enthusiastic and passionate team, with opportunities to develop existing and new skills, encouraged by a management team who is supportive of your ongoing career development.

Experience or extensive knowledge in KYC onboarding/regular review and AML/non-AML regulatory requirements is an advantage. Experience in a financial institution involving research or KYC work is ideal but not essential.
