As an Intern at Macquarie, you will gain valuable on-the-job experience you need to kick start a career in the financial services industry. We have exciting opportunities for students within our various teams such as:

  • Market Operations which provides independent specialist trade validation, confirmation, settlement, payments and treasury support, as well as client lifecycle management, reconciliations services and regulatory reporting  for a variety of products and currencies for many of Macquarie’s businesses globally;
  • HR Operations which provides group-wide support for Human Resources functions including global payroll, onboarding, HR Service Desk, and mobility;
  • Business Services which provides strategic sourcing, procurement operations and vendor management services; and
  • Risk Management is an independent and centralised function responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to material risks across Macquarie. RMG designs and oversees the implementation of the risk management framework.

We are looking for students from a wide range of degree backgrounds who are completing their final year in the university and require a mandatory internship (at least 400 hours or more to commence in September 2022) as part of their curriculum. You will have a keen eye for detail, a strong commitment to completion and delivery, excellent communication skills, a good risk mindset, and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
