Responsibilities

  • Assist the team with day-to-day query allocation and satisfactory resolution of operational, data and basic technical and analytical client queries using combined knowledge of MSCI products and financial concepts
  • Ensure that complex queries are routed to the appropriate senior CS team members and/or global teams in a timely fashion
  • Coordinate and collaborate with the Global Client Service Team to help address any inquiries/requests raised by non-APAC clients, including those from global Coverage teams
  • Provide any relevant and material client feedback to the Coverage, Product Management, Research, and Data Production groups
  • Keep up with current events and trends in the marketplace

Requirements

  • A self-starter and highly motivated, able to work individually and within a team
  • Has basic understanding of international financial institutions and global financial markets
  • Demonstrated basic understanding/strong interest of financial investment topics, such as: portfolio construction, portfolio management analytics, market/investment risk management analytics, factor attribution analysis, ESG investing, Real estate investing, etc.
  • Strong attention to details
  • Strong analytic, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Adept in the use of Microsoft Office and tools
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight, short-term deadlines
  • Able to work efficiently with diverse cultures on a global team and knows when to involve appropriate colleagues in projects regardless of functional, geographic, and business lines
  • Desired Qualifications:
  • Undergraduate Degree in math, statistics or mathematical finance, or other quantitative fields is desired. Open also to graduates of engineering, computer science and IT-related courses with a sound understanding of finance
  • Master’s Degree in Finance or equivalent is a plus.
  • Studying or have interest in completing/studying a Finance related professional qualification e.g. CFA, FRM is a plus.
