The objective of the service specialist is to identify, mitigate, and record actions as they relate to risks associated with on-time pickup and on-time delivery. Within the team, the specialist will perform a variety of roles including tasks like shipping facility tracking, provider tracking, in-transit tracking, load recovery initiation, unload resolution, determining reassignment versus rescheduling, and providing value-stream level visibility to load status, among other transportation cost-and-service-based optimization activities for Nestle.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight to all physical movements within a transportation plan to ensure on-time delivery
• Execute real-time analysis and decision-making given exceptional situations associated with movement issues
• Facilitate visibility to stakeholders external to transportation group on load status and resolution action plans
• Implement market-based service strategies with respect to customer segmentation into daily problem-solving schemas

Qualifications

• Preferably with a strong background in Customer service, Transportation/Logistics/Warehousing
• Knowledgeable in MS Office - Excel, Outlook, PPT, Word, data analysis, and root cause analysis
