Role Purpose

Mission

Ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial records, supporting the financial decision-making process, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and regulations.

Outcomes

Responsible for performing a wide range of accounting duties related to the maintenance, preparation, and analysis of financial records. He works with financial data to ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.

What You'll Do

• Oversee the accounting processes revenue and cost, inventory, tax compliance, monthly closing of books and financial reporting
• Ensure efficient management of all financial transactions;
• Adopt an efficient accounts reconciliation process on a monthly basis;
• Perform regular account reconciliation processes;
• Provide schedules and reports for auditing purposes;
• Analyze different general ledger accounts regularly;
• Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts.
• Design and prepare audit schedules for external audit;
• Prepare financial reports, summaries, and other accounting-related documents for management or regulatory purposes.
• Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Enter financial data into accounting software or spreadsheets accurately and timely.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies or trends that require attention.
• Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting regulations, and tax laws.
• Support internal and external audit processes by providing requested information and documentation.
• Provide general administrative support to the accounting department, such as filing documents, answering phone calls, responding to inquiries, and coordinating meetings.

What You'll Need

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
• Financial background and deep knowledge of the taxation process and tax law and be able to effectively communicate, in verbal or written form
• Great written and verbal communication skills and superior customer service are also important
• Highly knowledgeable on business concepts and government regulations, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers and financial data
• Excellent time management skills, attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Critical Thinker; uses logic and reasoning to identify the strengths weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
• Must be able to consider the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one
