JOB SUMMARY:

  1. Responsible in assuring quality and food safety of incoming, stored and outgoing products by ensuring adherence to products specifications and operating standards.
  2. Responsible for implementing quality procedures and policies throughout the plant.
  3. Implement GOD, SSOP, HACCP and other food safety program.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Checks and inspects all incoming commodities for storage or blast freezing. Verifies for conformity to appropriate quality standard.
  2. Verifies and records temperature readings and critical control points of all controlled rooms and stored commodities on a set frequency.
  3. Conducts GOP Internal Audit, including creating audit findings report, determining proper correcting and preventive actions and closing out audit findings.
  4. Monitors, prepares and accomplishes reports on hygiene, sanitation, pest control, storage and products inspection and chemical utilization and applies control for non-conformances verified.
  5. Ensures compliance with set Good Operating Practices, procedures and other food safety programs of the company.
  6. Verifies and report compliance of personnel to set procedures, work instructions and policies of the operations.
  7. Implements and monitoring First-Expiry-First-Out (FEFO) or First-In-First-Out (FIFO).
  8. Conducts and develops training / re-training to build quality awareness for all personnel.
  9. Performs other responsibilities and duties as required.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate of any science-related course, but preferably BS Food Technology, BS Chemistry, BS Chemical Engineering, and BS Biology.
  • Fresh graduate or minimum one (1) year work experience in the same position or its equivalent.
  • Knowledgeable with Food Safety Standards and pre-requisite programs – FSSC 22000, HACCP, GOP, GWP and Document and Record Control.
  • Excellent in oral and written communication.
  • Detail-oriented, physically fit (can adapt to chilled and freezing environment) and good personal hygiene.
  • Applicant must willing to be assigned in Cabuyao, Laguna.
  • With Humility, Integrity and Malasakit.
