Skills and Qualification:

•   Conducts Physico-chemical analysis of incoming raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products based on established sampling plan and method of analysis
•   Assures   accuracy   and   precision   of   all  physicochemical  analysis  and identifies sources of errors and make the necessary correction to ensure accuracy of test results
• Prepares and standardizes chemical solutions/reagents and maintains laboratory glasswares and equipment. Ensures that all chemical lab instruments are functioning well prior to usage 
• Maintains orderliness and good housekeeping of working area
• Supervises Laboratory Assistants/Samplers/Aide and delegates work intelligently with proper instruction to meet the work objective during the shift
• Reports and highlights non-conforming quality parameters from analyzed samples and coordinates with operating unit to immediately correct the problem; ensures that corrective actions are adequately undertaken to correct the problem
• Accomplishes necessary reports such as Product Release Report, Wheat Shipment Report, Product Quality Advice Noted (PQAN), Daily Quality Profile and Weekly/ Monthly Quality Profile, etc.
• Oversees Chemical Section of QA Laboratory
• Prepares and certifies Certificate of Analysis
• Performs other tasks which may be assigned by superior from time to time
