Your responsibilities
Determines policies, reviews, and optimizes safety stock and inventory levels and parameters are set in the entire network from plant to distribution center (e.g. reorder pt, safety stock, ABC categorization)
Places orders based upon agreed lead time and volume parameters
Integrates new products, trials, and maintenance into production schedules, manage the planning of repacking activities
Plans replenishment across the Distribution Centre network and run daily DRP (Deployment Requirements Planning) functionalities based on the inventory settings of the Inventory Function
Owns the policy on VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory) in line with customer requirements
Conducts regular business and performance reviews with Manufacturing
Accountable for quality and updates to Material Master Data and for supply policies (EOQ, scheduling, etc.)
Works closely with Logistics Service Provider coordinators, acts as an intermediary between Demand Planning and Factory Planning develops close & daily contact with the Order Desk to ensure fulfillment, respects the service level agreements, and collaborates with Transportation/ Hauling to hand over the Deployment Plan for Deployment Scheduling
Reviews and resolves exceptions of Rough-cut Constraint Calculation and Master Production Plan prepares and assists in gap resolution as pre-work to the S&OP meeting
Drives the flexible part of the short-term supply to resolve alerts of real-time issues, reviews out-of-stock situations, and defines actions to avoid this in the future (respecting the defined service levels per category)

About you
Graduate of Engineering or business-related course with 2 years of experience working in supply or similar function preferably from a multinational or multicultural environment
Fresh graduates with outstanding academic backgrounds or candidates with backgrounds from other supply chain functions may be considered preferably from FMCG companies
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (esp. Excel – Pivot, VLOOKUP, etc.) and SAP
Total network view in his/her region (plants and DCs; cross country if needed)
Full understanding of the total chain of planning processes, distribution capabilities within the responsible network, and inventory policies and methodologies
