Your role
As an Underwriter Staff, you are responsible for the evaluation of current credit data/information of borrowers to determine their eligibility/ qualification according to set standards or credit parameters and the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. You are also responsible to recommends for approval or approving qualified loan applications.
- Adheres to the bank policies/procedures/standards, the bank’s organizational thrusts, and top management’s/ExCom/BOD directives in the performance of assigned tasks.
- Executes the Credit Operations Manual based on the assigned loan product
- Review credit profile, recommends or issue credit approvals, identify credit risk, and establish mitigants of assigned loan products such as Credit Cards (CC), Auto Loans (AL), Home Loans (HL), and Small Business Loans (SBL).
- Perform underwriting and loan approvals based on approved credit authority.
- Assist Team Leader on credit items, non-credit related items/special assignments, as the need arises.

About you
- Bachelor’s degree in the field of Business Management, Accountancy, Marketing or any related course.
- Preferably with at least less than 1 year of experience
- With underwriting skills and analytical skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Can perform tasks with less supervision
