Associate for Energy Industry Data null

Responsibilities

• Primary point of contact for providing critical research and value-add knowledge to our diverse client base at various companies primarily in the US, and across the globe, through calls, e-mails, and web-chat.
• Channel client ideas and feedback to our content and product management teams to help improve the quality and accuracy of our database and products.
• Work with specialist team members on projects and develop subject matter expertise in different sectors of the Energy industry: natural gas, power, and coal.
• Present webcasts that provide demos of S&P Global Market Intelligence products and cover major industry trends.
• Work with financial modeling team to help build new and customized, data-driven Excel models.
• Participate in user acceptance testing efforts within the area of focus to ensure that products meet the highest standard for the client experience.
• Train new associates on the MI platform and the energy industry and assist associates on client requests and other processes on the team.
• Participate in the proactive client outreach process to create awareness around product enhancements and drive usage.
• Build out our Knowledge Base for internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Undergraduate Degree holder, preferably in Economics, Finance or Accounting would be preferred but not a requirement
• Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply.
• 1-2 years of experience in an external client-facing role would be an advantage.
• Open to understanding the US energy industry or the global economy.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Must be proactive and capable of multitasking effectively.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
