Shell has become more centred around gas and developing new energy, so I feel like I’m working towards a solution and that I’m having a positive impact on our planet.
Joining the Upstream Production Graduate Program with Shell has allowed me an insight into both corporate life, as well as having the ability to spend almost two years in the field working a rotational roster.
The graduate programme is three years long and, during this time, I know I will get a well-rounded view of all the assets and the technical disciplines in this large organisation.
I work with a great variety of people, which is really rewarding. Shell has a great coaching and mentoring program which I’ve found to be really useful.
I wanted to join Shell not only for their global portfolio but also because of the extensive number of future investments and ventures they had planned within Australia.
Coming back to Shell two and a half years later as a graduate, I was happy to see that the project I developed during my internship has actually been useful for Shell.
